The first thing you notice when you walk in is that you can see all of the apartment, all 400 PLUS square feet. The bathroom is so small your left thigh will likely ride the bathtub rail as you sit on the stool.
Covering the floor everywhere [except in bathroom and about 10 sq feet in kitchen] is a repugnant tightly wound fiber of some sort that resembles a mosaic of earth colors somewhat similar to the old oval throw rugs of yesteryear. It looks severely dirty at all times and to walk on it is akin to romping at the school gymnasium at half time. Your feet and legs ache until Tuesday afternoon when it is time to get your team ready for next contest. The floor covering is literally junk from all vantage points, aesthetics, serviceability, foot comfort etc.
Everything is an extra. You pay ALL your own utilities, In the summer they will put an air conditioner in for you and charge you 10 bucks a month to use it. Its another 35 dollars a month to park your vehicle Light bulbs go out that is YOUR expense.
So in sum at the 400 you have arguably the smallest apartment in the vicinity costing you perhaps the highest amount per month to live. With utilities running well over one hundred dollars in the winter and 35 more dollars to park your vehicle I think it is easy for you to see that on a per square foot basis or even just outright it is going to cost you exorbitantly to state you live at the 400. Couple that with the prospect that aesthetically you are forced to look at the most uninspiring, dismal, dark, carpet in EVERY room every hour you attempt to spend in solace and comfort that regrettably you cannot find in your 400 apartment. .
