Apartment Review for Van Raden

I have rented from Van Raden for awhile and have had nothing but problems with them. Evey time that i have had a problem, i would go to my apartment manager and tell her something needed to be fix. Nothing ever got fixed. The fridge broke finally after telling them repeatedly that it did not work and I could not even use the freezer because there was no room after it iced up. But they proceeded to try and charge me $900 for this fridge. I was also told that i could file a claim with my insurance for the fridge. Well why would i do that and make my insurance go up? Then i get charged for smoke detectors being replaced. They replaced those voluntarily. The maintenance main even said they just wear out after awhile, then surprise surprise, there is another bill from them in the mail. People do not pay rent to replace the broken things in their apartment, if i wanted to do that i would have moved to a house. Long story short, they now have tried to evict me for the cost of these items and also saying that i am letting people live with me, well i do believe i can have people over, doesn't mean they live there. Due to the eviction notice i have decided to actually put the time for some legal action against Van Raden. MAYBE they will get the point now that they cannot treat people like this
