Review for Capstone Property Management Limited Apartments

The Capstone Village in Athens, Ohio is a good alternative for graduate students that don't mind living in a place where poor maintenance is the rule. The pictures on the website don't show that nearly every unit has its front doors in really bad shape, with storm doors in unacceptable condition. Interiors are nice but are apparently regularly delivered extremely dirty (bugs, bugs, bugs, mildew, mildew, mildew). Management is basically one person that is also in charge of handling repairs. Management is not used to hearing complaints and handles them somewhat inappropriately forgetting you are their client. Expect spending three or four days cleaning using every single product you may imagine and investing about 200-300 USD in getting the unit in barely decent shape. Exterior gardens are maintain appropriately but with no landscaping or good care for appearance. What's good about the place, it is quiet, close to OU and some units have ample space. Washers and dryers in good condition can also be rented from management. In summary, recommended for graduate students that don't mind still living like students.
