Review for Mayflower Manor Apartments

Security is the Akron Police Dept, who try to check visitors ID's for warrants etc. Security cameras everywhere and 2 emergency buttons/pull strings in each apt. The apt's are for disabled and/or 62 yrs or older. There are a few idiots here and there but management usually gets rid of them and once they are gone they are banned and risk a trip to jail if they come back. It has a nice weight room, laundry room, free A/C, heat and electric. If you mind your business and lay low you'll like it here. You're in the heart of Akron across from the Aeros stadium, half a block from the summer weekly conerts, right here for the rib Fest and Hamburger Festival, 4th of July, parades, a few good restaruants, the canal trail, etc. Yes, there's some bums downtown like any other town, but it's heavily patroled by the police and I feel safe. Management is easy to work with and now a lot of akron U kids are downtown. Maybe soon they'll have more stores and other shops.
