Apartment Reviews for Emerald Lakes - Beavercreek

The staff was very helpful in getting me into an apartment fast when my old roommate went psycho on me, they had me in an apartment in 4 days!! I really haven't had any problems except for the huge floods of college kids who have started to move in this summer. I'm a college student but I don't party here, but this summer it seems like more and more college students are moving in to this place... it gets annoying. Last night I was leaving to go to my boyfriend's apartment and there was two cars in the way of the road and drunk college kids were talking about who was the most sober and who should drive... very annoying. An very stupid too I must add... The new college kids act like they own this place. The apartments are pretty good for the most part, the single floor ones are sort of small, but they're not bad at all. The bedrooms and closets and bathrooms are amazing, it's just the living room/dining room/kitchen are sort of all in one. If you decorate and arrange the right way though it looks really good. The management is very good about everything, they always help you and the maintenance is good, they just don't always come when they say they will... they've been a couple of days late both times I've called them with a problem. The apartment was extremely nice and clean when I moved in. Just make sure you write down EVERY LITTLE THING on the check sheet thingy, because when they do inspections they'll tell you you'll have to pay for it. There was a burn mark on the tile in my kitchen and I didn't notice it, and they told me I'd probably have to pay for new tile on the floor... which is stupid. It has little problems like all apartment complexes, but it's not a bad place to live. <P>
