Review for Parkview Arms Apartments

While Parkview Arms Apartments look great on the outside, for the price the apartments should be much more updated. The kitchen appliances are at least 10 years old, bathroom fittings poor quality. On the positive side the space is wonderful and natural light makes all the rooms with windows bright. Most units do not have washer and dryers in them so you have to fight over 4 coin operated ones for the whole building. Parking is again a mixed bag. I have one assigned space for a 2 bedroom, but there is no room for guests or a second car. One of my big problems with the place is that there is no unloading area. To bring in groceries either you have to haul them up a flight of stairs, down the hall, in the elevator and then down the hall to your apartment. The other option is to get out of you car, use your key to go in the garage door that most tenants do not have access to, hit the button to open the garage door, drive your car in and hope that no one complains while you double park, use your building key again to enter the basement and grab a shopping cart, load the shopping cart, get on the elevator, go down the hall to your apartment, unload your shopping cart (hoping your frozen food hasn't melted), and then you still need to go back down and move your car. Alot of work! Also while the manager who lives on site means well, but she is inflexable and really needs to retire.
