Review for Haven House Apartments

Preferred Properties manages Haven House in Bowling Green, and the staff are the meanest and rudest group of women I have ever encountered. They yell at people when they call for routine maintainence help or just to ask a simple question. A hampster got into our apartment through a hold under the bathroom counter from another apartment (no pets are allowed in our buildings). I called for maintainence to come and get rid of it, and the woman who answered in the office yelled at me and said I'd have to pay a fee for having a pet...I must have told her a hundred times it wasn't mine before she actually listened...she made me cry! Parking is virtually non-existent in the Haven House lot when BG classes are in session, and owner Douglas Valentine could care less. They allowed tennants to park in one side of a church lot adjacent to the apartments, but when there are no spots available there either, what does he do? He has everyone towed without giving another option to park! Many tennants are currently in the middle of a lawsuit over that! If you decide to live at Haven House, be prepared to be towed and be tough...those people are nasty!
