Review for Haven House Apartments

I have nothing nice to say about this apt or the staff. My bf use to live in fox run which is a pretty nice apt of theirs. First he wanted to renew his lease but when he went in they already gave his apt away after being there for 2 years without notifying him. Of course he complained and they didnt care because they simply told him they are getting their money no matter what. Then we decided to move into Haven House. Lets just say I am disgusted with the service. We went in the day before move in to try to get keys and they told us to come back in the morning. We then came back and would not give us keys because we refused to sign the parking permit (basically stating they can't guarantee a parking spot) and the parental agreement. We both refuse to have our parents sign since we are 23/24 years old and are out of college. After a hour of fighting we finally got our keys. We were so disgusted we wanted to find a different apt that day to move into because we did not want to give them our business. Then later that day we accidently locked ourselves out. (I know pretty dumb of us) I called and asked for a lock out key nicely and right off the bat they had an attitude. They yelled at me and told me I wasn't allowed in the building since my lease didnt start in another 3 days. (He was able to move in early since he was inbetween leases with them) Why the 3 days makes a difference I have no idea...maybe they are feeling I cheated them out of money. When the repair man came he gave me a dirty look and told me he could only let my roomate in and not me.

We have ran into many issues with them in the past. They took forever to fix our AC when it was 90+ degrees (took them about 3 months). They will lie on many occasions to you. Terrible staff that is unprofessional. I would never recommend this company to anyone! Please give your business to a company that will atleast treat you with respect and value your business
