Review for Winthrop Terrace Apartments

I didn't have many problems with Winthrop Terrace Apartments until my roommate and I moved out. There was the occasional loud music next door and other things, but thats what we were expecting. We spent two days cleaning that place from top to bottom after everything was moved out. We cleaned cabinets, the bathroom, swept, everything. We did it all. We had the apartment until Saturday afternoon at noon. They told us that they would not come do a walk through with us on Saturday, so we turned in our keys and ID's on Friday evening. Everything was fine until we received our deposit check. Out of a $200 deposit, we only received $65 back. The paper said our unit required 6 hours of cleaning, screens replaced on the back door and carpet cleaning. There is no way this was possible. For one, we spent hours cleaning and there was never a screen on the back door to begin with. I then called to discuss this with management and he was very rude and would not agree to a face to face meeting. This place scammed us. I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. Be Ware!
