Apartment Review for Ashbrook Run

Sure, it looks like a nice new apartment complex from the outside but what terribly built structures these are. The people in the office are kind but they will tell you whatever you want to hear in order for you to rent an apartment from them. I was the first renter of my apartment and on the day we moved in all three windows were cracked, the light fixture in the hallway was cracked, the master bathroom toilet flooded (no, it wasnt my fault), part of the countertop was missing, and the dishwasher was installed wrong and didn't have the water hooked up to it. As a previous review said they don't paint the walls but expect you to pay over 30 dollars a gallon when you move out to paint the walls for them. There was never any place to park, we had to park multiple buildings down and walk to our apartment. When we signed our lease we were told the patios were "shared" only to find out that they actually belonged only to the bottom floor renters AFTER we moved in! If you are a light sleeper you will hate this place, we could hear every word out bottom floor neighbors said as well as their baby... We were charged an OBSCENE amount when we moved out. They nickel and dimed us for everything and they ended up charging us 1300 DOLLARS... Do yourself a favor and stay the heck away from this place. Also, don't listen to the good reviews. They're posted by staff and only pop up after a bad review has been written.
