Review for Hillside Court Apartments

This place totally screwed me. They took advantage of the fact that I didnt take pictures or log the apartment conditions. They stole my $200 dollar deposit and slapped a $600 dollar fine on top of that for "carpet damage." There was a water leak across the hall where water came into my apartment complex. The maintenance man was called out to clean my carpet. I did not log these events.. and now I am stuck paying for it. I cannot take them to small claims court because of lack of evidence... they claimed to have taken pictures of the carpet whereas I couldn't claim anything about the maintenance visit or water leak.

One other thing... one morning i woke up (in the nude) to go the the bathroom when I heard the sound of guys talking in my living room. Obviously I knew it wasnt anyone I knew because I was the only one with the key. So I hurried and dressed myself and grabbed my baseball bat when I realized it was the maintenance men. I called the office and complained like crazy that they came into my apartment without my consent. She claimed that they had mistaken my room for someone elses. This place really REALLY left a bad taste in my mouth. I've never felt happier than on the day I left that place... until I realized the carpet bill that is.

I just want to warn you about this place. I was rubbed raw and feel completely violated with the Sexton Company (Hillside Court)... I strongly urge you to not patronize their services in any way. In fact, I could care less if they were to lose the facility.
