Review for Revere Village Apartments

When I first moved in Revere Village was under different management. The rent was cheap for Centerville. The complex had great management, they always had it together and knew what apartment I was in before I even had to mention it. The old management had a complete maintenance crew who often times were out the same day I called. Now we have Towne Properties who haven't seemed to get it right from day one.

-They seem to have trouble processing your rent so they send out a paper saying you owe X amount of money when you shouldn't owe them jack thus causing you a heart attack

-They're down to one maintenance man and while he's a good one it took him a month to tend to my clogged garbage disposal that was stinking my apartment to the high heavens, the neighbors are often times loud and favor partying right outside my window. I can rarely, if ever, open the bloody thing just because every time I do they seem to decide to move the action outside.

-Despite the fact that there are specific areas in the city of Centerville designated for dog waste the neighbors are to stupid and/or lazy to go them. It's not like they are really far but I guess 15 ft. out the building door is just to inconvenient compared to right outside my window). In the summer heat it's really bad, I don't know about most people, but I really hate the smell of fresh, steaming dog doo-doo in my apartment.

-The crack management team closes the office early and/or the office doors inexplicably lock and they are surprised when this happens--NOT!! More like they just don't want to deal with valid questions, comments, and concerns.

-Sure gas is paid, but when your toilet tank stopper keeps coming off and your air conditioning rarely shuts off when it's on, are you really saving money?

-I found a roommate to move in with me. And in compliance with my leasing agreement I brought him up to the office and he filled out an application. They said everything was in order and would get the papers we needed to sign out to us the next day. Here it is a month and half later and still no papers. I guess it's not as vital to have all parties on the lease as they like to pretend. Oh well, easier on us I guess.

-And the real kicker is the rent went up with the renewal of my lease to accommodate them having their collective thumbs up their collective asses.

Long story short, I've had it with this dump the very next opportunity that arises we're bolting. Hopefully that will be sooner than February 2008 when my lease is up.
