Review for Steeplechase Apartments

I've lived at Steeplechase for over two years now. I renewed my lease a second time only because I dread apartment shopping. This time though, I won't let them raise my rent again. The tennis and basketball courts are worn out and very run down with cracked pavement and weeds growing all about. Most of the lights in the complex don't work. There's almost never parking in front of my building because others who live here constantly have people visiting and taking up all the tenant's spots. There is a serious wasp problem on the roof directly outside of my apartment. It got so bad that wasps were coming in through my bedroom vent. I called maintenance several times, no one has been here to fix the problem. I finally had to get a can of bug spray and spray it up the vent myself. The carpets appeared clean when we moved in, but slowly old stains and dirt spots began to appear. Our bathtub creaks everytime you shower in it, which I'm sure is a huge annoyance to the people below us. Our AC unit runs constantly, raising our bill sky high, because the windows are so old the insulation is shot. I would open the windows to cut costs, but as I said before there's a bit of a wasp problem. The management staff is rude, incompetent, and unhelpful. And, we can't forget about the two ridiculous neon palm trees we have glowing near the front entrance. It makes it look more like a party pad than a luxury apartment complex. Oh, and I heard that Z93 (a local radio station) is going to be broadcasting from here tomorrow. Perhaps they really are trying to turn this place into one big party?? Good thing I'm getting out!!!!
