Review for Steeplechase Apartments

First off, we got screwed out of the unit we wanted, and forced into a smaller one for almost the same price. They wouldn't return our deposit, and we'd already given noticed elsewhere. That wouldn't be so bad, but the alternative unit is a crap shack. The "new" carpet doesn't quite reach the walls in some places. Electrical outlets are a shorted out mess, and the bathroom door is horribly damaged, asking for it to be replaced only resulted in "it will take a couple of weeks" sort of answers. It's been the same answer for 5 months. If I'd have known how bad it is, I'd have walked away from the deposite and cut my losses. Now I'm stuck in a lease that can't end fast enough.
