Apartment Reviews for Lalique Point - Centerville

Apartment was spotless when we moved in, appliances seemed fairly new and we never had any problems with them. Maintenace would come promptly whenever there was a problem, sometimes the very same day we called. It is next to a shopping plaza which was a very convenient walk. It is near everything but tucked away so there was never any traffic noise. Apartment was new looking and very nice.

Now for the few minuses --- the apartments walls and floors are thin, you can hear your neighbors easily, we could even hear complete conversations of the people below us. This apartment complex could have been A-1 if they had just put in the money to sound proof it better. Since the complex pays for water, the toilets are very low flow, which requires flushing it twice (pretty much defeating their purpose for providing cheap toilets since you have to use more water to flush them.) Even flushing the toilets twice, they were constantly clogged up. There are a lot of kids here because these are 2 and 3 bedroom apartments in the Centerville school district and they tended to play in the parking lots causing a lot of noise instead of playing in the empty field behind the complex which could have been much quieter, as well as you have to be careful driving in or out so you don't hit them. The kids were told by management not to play in the parking lots. The management hired a security guard to enforce this rule but since they only hired him for a few days, as soon as the security guard left, the kids went back to playing in the parking lot. So be aware there is no real security to enforce rules here.

Overall compared to major problems I've read about concerning other complexes in the area, I would recommend Lalique Point - just be aware of the points I brought up. If you can tolerate a little noise from neighbors nearby due to thin walls and noisy kids, this is a nice place otherwise.
