Bells Lake rests just under 20 miles away from the heart of the city, off of James A. Rhodes Appalachian Highway. Residents can get their grocery shopping done at the Kroger minutes down the street. For residents who like Mexican food, the El Porvenir Mexican Grocery is a great place to shop for necessary ingredients, no passport required. The Bell Lakes are located right next to the complex and provide some amazing views for occupants. Reviews of Bells Lake rave of the hard-working staff and the proximity to shopping, schools, and restaurants. However, one review mentioned that the community is smaller than they'd like.

Residents can get find tons of culture in the area courtesy of the Contemporary Arts Center, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and the Cincinnati Fire Museum. Some reviews state that the additional fee for parking is a bit much and maintenance is fast, but could improve the quality of work they produce. Others say management is helpful and responsive, plus the location is unbeatable.

Garfield Tower is the perfect place for tenants who want to live downtown, with the building so close to everything Cincinnati has to offer. Residents can travel around the city via bus, taxi, or just walk. There are a number of places in the area for great nightlife, including Blue Whisp Jazz Club, Scene Ultra Lounge, and City Cellars. The property sits right along Piatt Park, which supplies scenic views for leaseholders. Reviews cite that the property has had problems with mold and management was sometimes hard to work with. Nevertheless, new management has been implemented and recent reviews say the price is extremely reasonable and maintenance does a great job addressing work orders.

Many reviewers would like management to improve their screening process for prospective residents. The premises is convenient to a plethora of local eateries, ranging from restaurants like Vitor’s Bistro and Santorini Restaurant, to Arby’s and White Castle, all of which are located within a mile of the property. Montclair in the Woods is also nearby a handful of grocery stores, like United Dairy Farmers, Kroger, and Walmart. Mt. Airy Forest, Dunham Recreation Area, and Westwood Common are some scenic parks close by, allowing renters to easily escape from the rush of city life. As of April 2013, no online reviews exist for Montclair in the Woods.
