Review for Timber Ridge Apartments

Security-NONE! Very bad outdated outside lighting that Maintenance only takes care of after you complain about it for MONTHS! Had my wife's car antenna bent beyond repair after we complained, again for MONTHS, that the tenants across from us were selling drugs at all hours of the day and night. Management won't evict them, instead they will just wait until their lease is up and not renew it. "There is nothing we can do about it" will be their answer for just about anything you may have a concern about. Parking-Very Limited! If you work late and another tenant decides to have someone over, more than likely you will have to park in another buildings lot. Our building has 8 spots for possible 12 cars. Appearance-Decent grounds, overflowing dumpsters more than common. Management/Office Staff-Horrid after you sign the lease. Once they "get" you, you'll wish you were somewhere else quick! Took 4 MONTHS to get our fireplace fixed after we moved in! 5 MONTHS to get outside lights fixed! Jennifer took every "BS 101" course she could in management school. "I'm sorry you feel that way" is her stock answer. A month ago they wanted to renew us, 3 weeks later they decide they aren't going to. Wanna know why? SO WOULD I!!! They won't tell us why!!! Think the whole place is getting subsidized now and they are kicking all their good tenants out so they can get government money! Maintenance-TERRIBLE! It shouldnt take MONTHS to get something fixed or a security issue taken care of, and oh by the way, the floors are open air floors so anyone can come to your door, animals will live on your stairs, kids will play right outside your door and parents won't care. Condition of Unit-GREAT, if you like living in 30 year old buildings that have the original drafty windows and doors, electric will cost you about $200 a month cause your A/C will run ALL day! Noise-Mostly quiet as long as the college age kids aren't partying until 4am, the couples arent arguing at any given time of day, you dont mind traffic about 200 yrds away, tenants slamming their doors for no reason, crazy music blasted from across the way, you know, little things like that! Overall- RUN! Don't walk away! RUN! RUN I SAY! Spend a little more money and move to a BETTER place! You'll be glad you did! Trust me!
