First off I feel that I need to reply to what seems to have been a message from the apartment "management."
To use someone's first and last name on an open and public website in use for a rebuttal is purely unprofessional. I would venture to say that this person is very thankful that you shared their name with the world. I guess they can come back to you when someone attempts to use their name for their uses. If I am wrong... Well my mistake but I highly doubt I am incorrect here. This wouldn't be the first or the last unprofessional thing I've seen from the management.
Now on to my complaint(s). Since moving in getting things done in a timely and professional fashion has just not happened. After numerous complaints, problems still persisted. I know everything looks pretty from the road but please before you consider this residence pull into one of the many apartment parking lots. You will see broken bottles, toys/bikes left all over, storage doors broken off their hinges and in a pile, broken and splinted picnic tables and rusted and broken YET newly painted handrails.
Oh and if you do manage to still use the picnic area outside due to broken items you will have to content with people drinking and smoking pot in that area while their 20 children run rampant breaking even more outside storage doors.
While I'm on the subject of the current tenants. Since I've moved in here I've heard nothing but loud animals barking from balconies at me as I walk into my building (which is in the lease being "not allowed"), running laps on the floor above me and the smell of pot.
It's amazing. It really is. Trust me. Another amazing feature is seeing live taping of cops as your fellow neighbors batter each other in the hall. I've seen 4-5 of these since I've moved in. The most recent one tonight. From what I saw it looks like a fine young man pushed his significant other down the hallways stairs. Wonderful. Yet again trust me it is. There is nothing better than abiding by the laws and watching everyone around you in chaos. Don't even get me started on noise. It's just TERRIBLE! Even at 3-4am in the morning. Apparently people like to hold live UFC wresting practice above me.
The pool! The wonderful pool! Yes it does looks wonderful and it would be.... IF!.. There is always an if with the fine West Hills Apartments! You'll love going to your local pool which is included in your rent mind you to see the Beverly Hill Billies swimming in cutt off jeans. Oh yea and while drinking a fine alcoholic beverage. Which is also against the lease. See a pattern here?
I didn't until recently but now I can't help but see all the issues.
The leasing office by the way is beautiful. It almost seems that they are more worried about outward appearance to unsuspecting victims...
I'm sorry I mean residents! Simple mistake I promise.
I've been told as well that the manager is not responsible for the people on the property. Well.... If they aren't who is? Do we need to start filing police reports and calling the police on people to have documentation built up before they can handle it? Who knows but they WILL NOT do anything about it. They must be worried they can't fill enough apartments.
I plan on moving out of here AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and never looking back. Please do not give these people your money. I'm finding now that there and MANY other viable options in the area for housing in this respective price point.
I'm also thinking of distributing this website as well as a newsletter of my own to the tenants of this fine apartment to see what I come up with when it comes to how others feel.
