I've lived here for 2 years and do not have any complaints. I'm moving out only because I graduated and need to find a place closer to work. If you are looking to SAVE, this is cheaper than any 1-bedroom apartment I found around Mason/Blue Ash area. The only maintenance issue dealt with my water heater during the second year. They replaced my water heater within 48 hours. The staff in the office does a really great job. I work during the day, so the office is closed by the time I get home. The leasing girl will put any packages I have on my doorstep before she closes the office. I like this community and I recommand anyone that is looking for something nice to come here.

I just moved here from Houston, TX and I will have to say I did read these comments before I moved into the apartment and was skeptical because of all of the comments. But now that I have lived here for 4 months I am very happy here. When I moved in I did have a couple things I wanted adjusted and the maintenance staff was very friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. They actually went above and beyond and hung my drapes for me too. The pool was closed this past week for about a week but it was for repairs. It is now back open and my daughter and I are looking forward to the pool party this weekend. It seems that the comments left on this page are noted out of frustrations, I am sure we all have different experiences with this community but I did want to take the time to come on here and write how my experience has been GREAT! My apartment is in great condition, work order completed in a timely manner, and the staff has been nothing but positive, friendly, and accurate! So when you are going over these comments please take a moment and read some of the positive ones has I truly believe there are few to less and we are happy to call this our home.

I had to move to Symmes Crossing from Denver and had about a weeks notice. I will say that it was the easiest move I have ever had. When I called the office they were happy to Fedex me photo's, floor plans, and lists of attractions near by for my family. I did the application process by email and we were on our way. Once I got to the property I was happy to see that it resembled the same property we looked at online. Everything was complete and ready to go with our new home. They even gave us a gift for our 1st night ( Free Pizza, 2 liter, and candy) there and believe me when I say my wife was happy not to cook after a 22 hour drive with 3 kids and 2 dogs. We just wanted to say Thank You to the staff for helping us out and getting us in so quickly.

If I would have known about this site I would not have moved into my apartment. I am sure glad I didn't see it! I moved in at the beginning of the summer and I have never been happier! It is close to Walmart, Krogers, and every dinning place you can think to visit. The highway entrance is 1 light away from the apartments. Not to mention I was able to take my kids to Kings Island and the Water Park everyday because it is so close to my home now. The only problem I had was a couple minor work requests after I moved in but coming from a person that has only lived in apartment communities these request were nothing compared to the others. I have a very nice 2 bedroom with huge bedrooms and very nice appliances! I have only had great experiences with the office staff and the workers here. The pool was closed for a week during the summer time but that was due to a drain plug issue or at least that was what I was told. But here it is the end of September and they are just now closing it so I think that makes up for it. I love the grounds here, so many beautiful flowers and that makes the wife smile so it makes me smile. Also my children love the Sycamore Schools; they catch the bus right by our house and seem to be learning more than they had in the Cincinnati Schools. All in All we are happy here and look forward to the years to come!

I have lived here for the past 2 years and I am very happy with the apartment that I live in. I think that maintenace has also gotten much better too. There used to be problems with Fire Safety but I also was told that the 1st fire was due to a ciggerette being put out in the mulch and that you me is common sense, the other was due to someone falling asleep while they were having a fire again common sense. The Bed Bug thing is a problem all over Cincinnati and it is due to forgein people moving in with them! But all in all the amenties they offer are great and the nice adult tree's through-out the property are great too! I am very happy here and it makes me upset to see when people put wrong things on here just because they propbably didn't get their way. People never take the time to write something good comments about anything only when they are unhappy. Very sad.

I agree with all the reviews previousl written and more. The rent is somewhat cheaper for Sycamore School district but definitely too high for what you get. The big remodeling hype was a bust. I think they ran out of money as no more seems to be getting done. It is owned by some outfit ,JRK, in California, what do they know or care about Ohio other than a good tax write off the milk it until it begins to die again and dump it. This happens a lot with these older apartments in this area. Management just goes from bad to worse, rude and lazy and they play favorites. Hidden fees are a given, you never know when they will hit you up for them, but as money hungry as they are there is one fee they could be making some money on and that they don't go after. That is there is supposedly a rule here people have to pick up their dog poop. They used to enforce that. Lately not so. I have emailed the office 3 times and called about some tenants that are not picking up their dogs crap. There are two large dogs and a small one. They are all out of the same building. I gave a description of the dogs and even the apartment number but nothing is getting done. Apparently the manager just told them not to bring the dogs in the area next to my building but she allows them to leave it everywhere else, also where I and others walk. I guess these "women" are some friends of hers, may even relatives. Obviously this manager is not doing her job. There is so much dog crap aroung these buidligns any kids or even adults that may walk in the grassy areas are bound to track in poop to the apartment or car. NICE!!! People should not be allowed to own dogs in publi living if they are too lazy to be resposible pet owners. The current manager "K" (won't give full name) used to be the assistant and when she got this position it went to her head. We had gotten into it on another occassion and all I heard when it was over was how I hurt her feelings, but when I told her I didn't like be called a liar she didn't apologize for that. So it is ok for her to mistreat tenants, just don't upset her. Right!!!. Tell me how a money order can get lost in a supposedly locked rent box for which only she has the keys, but it did. I have tried before, contacting JRK, which is difficult in itself, I contacted them 3 times, no answer. I had to sign another year lease here because of the school situation, but guaranteed I will not be renewing in 2012. I would discourage anyone looking for an apartment in this area to run away from here as fast as they can. There are some nice apartments practically around the corner on Mason-Montgomery road that run just a a little more, a lot of AI students live there, that are very nice. I have not heard any complaints from these students of which quite a few were my daughters friends. If you take the time to look, you can do so much better than here.
