Review for The Fairmount Apartments

I have been living in the Fairmount building for about 10 months and have loved my time here; in fact, I will probably continue living here for as long as I can. The building itself, as well as the units inside, have a tremendous amount of character and have been taken care of quite nicely (I see the maintenance and janitorial staff at work here quite often). The landlord is quite responsive to any complaints/inquiries I have and has gone out of his way to help me out many times; in fact, over the winter holidays, I was out of the state for about four weeks and realized I wouldn't be able to put the parking permit for the new year on my car parked in the garage down the block. I notified the landlord about this and, on his own, he offered to come down to the parking garage and put the permit inside my car for me (once I FedEx-ed my keys to him) and then placed my keys back in my apartment for me. I don't know many other landlords willing to go through all of this trouble for one of their tenants. The other residents of The Fairmount are quite friendly and there is an overall sense of community even within this one building. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment building to anyone looking to live in this area.
