Carnaby Village Apartments are situated comfortably outside the city, but a straight 9 mile drive to Downtown. With these apartments’ immediate surroundings, there would almost be no need to travel far when the area has so much to offer. Route 40 or East Main, can guide tenants to just about anything. Carnaby Mall Shopping Center with stores like T.J. Maxx for any bargain shoppers, though Kmart is also conviently located east along Route 40. On the outer edges of the suburbs of Columbus, the community of London hosts The Elms apartments. Just off Elm St, residents here are not far away from anything that is happening in this town. Across Elm sits the Ohio State University Extension Madison campus and the Madison Fairgrounds. For those tenants with children, there is one elementary school right against the back door of these apartments as well as London Elementary right down the road, still within walking distance. The middle school can be found within similar proximity. There are mixed reviews from tenants, but generally speaking, there has been some positive feedback on the staff and maintenance crew response. The issue seems to be pest control, which management is aware of.

Park Trails, located conveniently off Chatterton Road, offer tenants easy access to bus routes and transportation in and out of the city. There is at least 2 bus stops within one tenth of a mile. Positioned behind a self-storage unit, Park Trails affords residents a place to hold overflow possessions. Take a walk down Matuka Drive, then follow Yozuni Drive down to Blacklick Trail, which leads through forest and farm land providing wonderful scenery. Reviewers of this property have commended the overall quality of the apartments themselves, though there have been minor disputes with the management.

Heathermoor is located on Hard Road, in the northern extremities of the city of Columbus. Being in a more suburban environment, residents can find a wide array of shopping and restaurants in the area, including CVS, Sunflower Chinese Restaurant, Olive Garden, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Play It Again Sports. In addition to all these conveniences, Interstate 270 is right down the street, so renters can reach any part of the city in a jiffy. Some reviews have mentioned that the units were not properly cleaned before move-in, and others mention that the appliances are a bit old and could use an upgrade. But, reviewers have generally been quite pleased with the staff and the responsiveness of maintenance at Heathermoor.

Situated just off Hall Road, the Abbington Village Apartments provide easy access to I-270 to the east. In this suburban community, tenants will find themselves surrounded by amenities such as a CVS Pharmacy essentially next door for any hygiene needs. Reviewers have not been favorable when it comes to the Abbington Village. Although it is acknowledged that security is patrolling the area at night, it is a concern to reviewers that the gate to the gated community is typically out of order. Management has been made aware; however, it has been difficult for them to keep up with the goings on due to the recent switching of managers.
