Check everything carefully and make sure nothing is wrong in the unit you're going to rent before you sign a lease, because it seems almost impossible to get this management company to repair anything. It's taken weeks, sometimes months, to get maintenance to attempt to fix something in my unit and their attempts never worked; they are just "temporary fixes" and the problem is back in a week, so nothing ever really gets repaired. Some things need to be replaced because they are beyond repair, but I don't see this management company putting the effort or money into doing that. Also, I can barely use my range because the smoke alarm was installed so close, it goes off every time I use the broiler or stovetop, and I have to hold a fan up to it to shut it up. I can hear the people on the floor above me talking and walking (although it sounds like stomping). The water bills are expensive. I haven't even lived here a year and cannot wait for my lease to be up so I can move out of this place, and it definitely won't be into a place managed by the Connor Group.
