1. Upkeep, Maint., and Management are awful and incompetant, they do not in any way try to help you with problems, concerns, and issues.
2. Our apartment flooded between Christmas and New Years, we were not notified about the situation, we found the carpet sopping wet when we returned home 3 days after the new year.
3. Our A/C unit recently stopped working. We were promised a brand new a/c when we moved in and that is what we had due to the length of time it took to get our apartment ready for tenants intially. It took maint. 4 days to come and replace it, the temp. outside was mid 90's. Our nice, digital unit was replaced with a older Kenmore unit. The front coil air filter was taken off to inspect, it was filthy. Not only did it take them 4 days, but the a/c was replaced with a older, used unit.
4. Our hot water tank went out and it took over a week to replace.
5. There was a ice storm a couple of days before the new year which blew over many trees and limbs. It took the maintanance crew till mid Feburary to clean it up.
6. The grass is poorly taken care of, the color is mid to dark brown in many places. Weeds grow in with the grass at almost all locations. The grounds crew has no respect for vehicles and deliberatly blows grass all over them and other household items on the porch. We had weeds waist high growing that have just recently been cut. I know the quality can be better, only because the grass/grounds looked great just last summer.
7. One of my cars was broken into by a young local kid. The mailbox has profanity scratched into it, as well as the side wall of the building was spray painted earlier this year.
8. A hit and run occured directly in front of my apartment.
9. We have heard several gunshots and found empty rounds throughout the year.
10. We lost hot water to the washer because of the flood which wasn't caused in our apartment, but the one next door.
11. Livingston ave. at Rand Ave. is not in a great part of Whitehall or Bexley, it is run down, but improving slowly.
**All of our problems occured after the company had been sold and new management took over.**
