WOW WHERE DO WE BEGIN. LETS START FROM THE BEGINNING, WE MOVED HERE OVER THREE YEARS AGO AND THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY (MARK MEYERS & CRAWFORD HOYING SMITH) ARE A BUNCH OF MONEY THIRSTY CARELESS PEOPLE. WE WERE TOLD THAT AS PART OF THE CONVERSION THEY WOULD REMODEL THE CLUBHOUSE WITH NEW CABINETS & GRANITE COUNTERTOPS, STAINLESS STEEL APPLAINCES, NEW PAINT, CARPET AND FURNITURE. STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE SHUTTERS ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING WERE GOING TO BE REPALCED. WHAT ONES ARE LEFT ARE MIS MATCHED AND HAVE NOT BEEN TOUCHED. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE AREA OUTSIDE THE POOL FENCE THAT IS SLIDING INTO THE LAKE WAS GOING TO BE FIXED AND THEY WERE IN THE PROCESS OF RECEIVNG ESTIMATES, STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED AND IS GETTING WORSE. WE WERE ALSO TOLD THAT THE CURBS WOULD BE LEVELED WITH THE GUTTER DRAINS ROUTED TO THE STREET, AS YOU CAN SEE , THIS IS STILL AN UNFINISHED PROJECT THAT HAS GONE ON FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE "AS ADVERTISED" GATED COMMUNITY. tHAT THE GATE WOULD BE WORKING BY LAST FALL (2007) AND IT TOO IS STILL LITERALLY SCREWED INTO THE OPEN POSITION. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE BUILDINGS WERE GOING TO BE POWERWASHED AND THE WHITE TRIM WAS GOING TO BE PAINTED. THAT STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED. RIPPED SIDING, MISSING & SMASHED GUTTERS AND LOTS OF WEEDS COMPLETE THIS DUMP. WHEN WE CONTACT THE OFFICE, THE OWNER HIMSELF (MARK MEYERS) AND THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY (CRAWFORD COMMUNITIES), THEY TELL US THE WORK IS SCHEDULED AND IS SET TO BEGIN IN 30 - 45 DAYS. WHAT A JOKE. IT HAS BEEN SEVERAL MONTHS AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED. EXCEPT THAT THEY FINALLY GOT THE LIGHTS WORKING. THEY WILL TELL YOU "UM, I AM NOT SURE LET ME CHECK ON THAT FOR YOU" IN THE OFFICE AND NEITHER OF THEM EVER CALL YOU BACK AND ARE HORRIBLE WITH FOLLOW UP! MY BEST ADVICE IS DO YOUR HOMEOWRK AND WHATEVER THEY TELL YOU, GET IT IN WRITING. THIS "CHOICE CONDOMINIUM" DEVELOPER HAS NOT EVEN BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 3 YEARS AND THIS PROPERTY IS A GREAT SHOW PEICE AS TO WHY. DRIVE THROUGH IT: TAKE 270 TO 70 WEST. TO HILLIARD - ROME ROAD, TURN RIGHT ON FEDER ROAD, TURN LEFT ON HARTFORD VILLAGE BLVD. FOLLOW TO 4 WA STOP. AFTER 4 WAY STOP MAKE 2ND RIGHT ONTO CEDAR SPRINGS. GET OUT AND TAKE A LOOK AND WALK AROUND (I WOULD DO THIS IN THE DAYLIGHT IF I WERE YOU). YOU WILL SEE ALL THE NASTINESS OF THE PLACE. BEST OF LUCK IN YOUR SEARCH!
