We left this apartment complex after we were burglarized and had to fight the management to even get a new door installed. They did nothing to make us feel safer and encourage us to stay. Odds are you won't be burglarized while here, but you'll definitely have to put up with your neighbor's music thumping through your wall and with people pulling up outside and honking their horns. We also had some neighbors who got evicted after they had a fight and the boyfriend destroyed his girlfriend's car, some neighbors whose teenage kid threw screaming tantrums late at night, and another set of neighbors who were up yelling at each other at 4 am. Add to that the facts that there's not a square corner in any room, the door seals leak, the carpet is laid on bare concrete, and maintenance's first repair tactic is hitting things with a hammer. If you want to save money, don't mind noisy neighbors, don't have a lot of stuff you'd mind getting stolen, and can put up with a certain amount of aggravation and grime from the bad construction, this might be a decent place for a short-term stay.
We saved a lot of money in two years living here, but I'm glad to be moving out to a safer, quieter, and neater place, where maintenance is quick and properly done. At $100 more per month it's worth it.
A second on another review--the apartment you are shown is not representative of the apartment you will get. Insist on being shown the actual apartment that you will be moving into before you sign the lease.
