After signing my lease to Ravine Bluff, I moved in to what looked looked like a nice apartment. All my neighbors where very nice and friendly there was a welcoming to the complex. After I settled in to the apartment things started to go wrong.
The second night in the apartment there was a police car chase on 161 which lead right past the apartments. The walls down stairs are very well insulated but I wish I could say that I didn't know my neighbors on a more "personal" level from the thin walls upstairs.
As many have said before the "demo" is not what you are going to get, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO LOOK, the apartment may not be what you think it is going to be. The apartment I have to live in has a dishwasher that might have worked back in the 1970 when it was still old.
All the alliances that are supplied here are of "top 1970's" technology. The only nice thing I have to say about them is they are ALL Kenmore. The water heat lacks the ability to warn anything for more than maybe Nine minutes at a time. While on the subject, the hot water facet in kitchen was not in good working order, as most of the other facets are not in "good condition."
I got lucky when I moved in here the "new" carpet was just installed, which means that they took the old carpet out and laid new carpet over the slab. No under padding or GLUE was used just the "new" carpet which looking like it was taken out of a different apartment and placed in here.
The maintenance staff is friendly but not to much of a help, I had to wait five days to get someone over here to fix something and it still is not fixed all the way. I still do not have a clue when they will be back.
I have a dog and I live in fear of letting her go outside to potty, NO ONE around cleans up after their dogs. The yard is covered by dog droppings and other such things.
Another problem that I have had was the mail here, not you getting the mail but the office getting your mail and opening it. It has happened a few times now, my mail has gone to the office where they have opened it and clearly saw what was on the bill or such.
In short if I didn't have no choice I would of NOT moved here, for the "rental price" you get I can see dealing with this for a year. Not paying the full price of this apartment, you must be a fool to pay that outrageous amount. I would take the advise of some of the others that have made a review. Not to many that have knowledge to write more than a simple F U, this is a (for lack of better wording) crap whole.
