Apartment Review for Acropolis Apartments

This place seems like a great value at first. When I moved in nothing had been cleaned/taken care of in the apartment. The toilet seat was cracked in half, there was no shower head, the carpet was not cleaned, the closet doors were broken and laying in the closet, the shades did not open or close. This is when I moved in....isn't the apartment supposed to be the cleanest when you first move in???? The staff is horrible, they did not even apologize for the above. Instead they took 2 weeks to fix 2 of the problems. Recently, I had complained about my door sticking. Today I was locked in my bedroom because the lock broke. I called the owner who was unapologetic and took 1 hour to get maintainence to the site. I was stuck inside my bedroom for over 1 hour with no way of getting out. When I triend to call the manager back she did not pick up her phone. A maintainence man finally showed up, and it took him 20 minutes to get me out. Overall, this apartment is dirty, unkept, and not safe to live in. The management only cares about your rent check. I advise all readers to not set foot near this apartment. <P>
