Not terrible, but no longer worth the price ( over a year ago )

I've lived here a number of years and don't have too many complaints (the constant thumping of a neighbor's surround sound system being an exception). The location is convenient if you're a student or otherwise affiliated with OSU, and the maintenance staff is pretty quick about fixing tenant issues. That said, there's really nothing special about it either and the mangers seem to have no compunction jacking up the rent every opportunity they get. My rent is going up $40 per month this year, on top of the $25-30 it went up last year. I'm already looking elsewhere to live.

Overall, colony club is a pretty good apartment. I don't have serious problems so far althought I am moving out soon. The reason I am moving out is because I need a bigger space and the noise problem. I am living on the second floor, and I was bothered a lot by my 3rd floor neighbour. I also bothered the 1st floor neighbour, but i got this problem solved (the rental office helped). If you don't mind the noise from your upper stair neighbour (walking sound, moving things, showering, and etc), colony club is pretty good. The rental office people are nice, maintenance is fast, close to the supermarket. If you are studying in OSU and have a car, this place is pretty good for you.

I lived at colony club for last 4 years. Great neighborhood, nice rental office people, quiet, clean, close to supermarket, close to OSU campus. Little old though... Highly recommend.

I have lived at Colony Club for a little over 3 years now. Everything is great here except the Maintenance manager. The apartments are nice and they have a noise policy. The grounds are well-kept and the location is great. The office staff is great and always has been. There is even a new couple working in the office and they do fine along with a guy that has been here ever since I moved in and he is great to work with. Even when you're mad. If you ever have a problem, go to the Rental Office. They are at least sympethetic to your situation. I had to deal with the maintenance manager when something happened in my apartment and all he did was talk in circles, making no sense and nothing was done for days. Some of my neighbors have had the same experiance with him. I eventually went to the Rental Office told them about my encounter with him and everything was taken care of promptly. Other than that, this is a great place to live. As it stands, I plan to stay another year.

I lived at CC for three years. It was cheap because it included heat and AC and electric. It was quiet. The mgmt was onsite and very responsive. They had a pool. It was nicely landscaped and convenient to everything. shopping downtown, campus etc. Colony Club is a very nice place esp for grad students and people with one child. You probably could have a noisy neighbor situation since it is three stories, but I was on the bottom end, so I only had someone on top. The walls are solid exposed brick!

Colony Club is in a great location and in a quiet area. I've lived here for 2 years and have always been impressed with maintenance - it is superb. People in the rental office have always been pretty cool, too. I don't have a car, but am close to Kroger, blockbuster and campus and that I can walk.
