Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings
Nice place - quiet safe and clean ( over a year ago )

Since I moved in here in the Spring of 07 I've found it to be nothing like the horror story reviews. I had a friend who spent some time here in '05 and he thought the place was fine, too.

It's very quiet, nice clean pool and a decent workout room. Apartments are fine, the upkeep of the grounds is well done and there is no noise problem here, frankly it's as quiet a tomb around here most of the time; I often wonder were all the people are.

The trash at the dumpster/compactor piles up every Sunday night as people don't bother to put the bags into the compactor and start piling up junk all around the dumpster that won't fit in the opening (ie, matresses, dressers, direct tv dishes, etc) and the staff attack that pile every Monday morning until it's gone. They do a nice, consistent job.

There are probably a lot of dogs here but you wouldn't know it. There's an occasional bark but you don't have dogs locked out on porches all day being a nucience. About 85% of the people seem to curb there dogs and throw out the poo but there's few turds in the grass. Not a big deal, imo.

I'd recomend this place for anyone coming to Columbus and needing a nice complex to live in. I was living in a house in the middle of the woods with few neighbors before I came here and I consider this to be a nice stop-over before I buy my next home.

I have to say my family and I live at The Estates and have for 4 yrs and LOVE IT. I have read the prior reviews and have to say what apartment complex doesn't have these issues? I have seen the Estates come 180 degrees. The Property Manger has been there about a year and she has brought a sense of stability back to the community, the office is full staffed with professional and caring people. I have noticed that they are sticking to the rules and policies that have always been in place. Maint is typical maintenance, but they will go above and beyond to serve the residents when possible. I have worked one on one with both Jady and Kristen in the office and I think the world of the 2 of them. I have had every one of my concerns handled professionally and in a timely manner; Jady stayed in contact with me every step of the way as I juggled with moving to a new home or staying at the Esates. The help and advice I received ultimatley made my decision to stay at the Estates the obvious one. I suggest to any one to visit the Estates for them self.

I really liked the area and hated to go, but I did get a kick back for buying my new home (Which I love too!!).

The apartment was clean, the area is nice, we never had problems. As with any apartment complex, you'll hear your neighbors if they are loud. Parking was never a problem. Only draw back currently is the traffic on Hamilton (sigh) and the construction on 161.
