Apartment Review for Millstone Lakes

I tend to agree with the reviews about water bills being too high! It would be great if each unit was metered, then I would only pay for the water my family used. That being said we agreed to it when we moved in. I’m not just unhappy with water prices…I’m not too fond of gasoline or $5 frappuccinos at Starbucks. No one has been duped or tricked into water bills and any other stance is just not true. What is great about Millstone Lakes was evident on Saturday January 21st 2012. Ohio weather had changed course again and the latest edition included freezing rain that was quickly changing to some sort of snowy icy delight and by mid-afternoon things were looking pretty bleak. When our family was making its way home we passed Barb, the community manager, spreading salt on the hill coming into the community. Two things to consider here, Barb is the Manager not a part of the maintenance staff. Lou, our maintenance person really is top notch too, but not relevant to this review. The second thing to consider is Barb typically does not work on Saturdays! She is invested in the community so much that when most of us were getting off the roads…she was out taking care of residents! That’s tough to find these days! Security by The Columbus Police officers hired for private duty keep the complex safe, and Barb and her team make living here great and it is appreciated by residents!
