Apartment Reviews for Parkleigh North - Columbus

I have lived here for years and have the same carpet as when I moved in over 15 years ago. The people in the office don't care about anything but getting a paycheck which they DO NOT EARN. I would not advise anyone to move here unless you like being treated like a piece of
trash and talked to like an idiot. I am looking for another apt. and have put in a couple of apps. Just waiting to hear from them. Stay away from Parkliegh North, you get treated really bad here.

They're all about the money and don't care about tenants. luckily before i moved in, i saw how bad the peolpe at the office were. They tried to get me in an apartment that has a big dent on the front door that was so obvious and this girl at the office told me that they will not change it because it wasn't life threatening. They assigned me to an appartment and everytime i went to see the apartment before i moved in they give me the run arounds.I decided not to moved in because it was a crappy place to live and They took all of my $300.00 deposit and it was barely 2 weeks.DO NOT PAY ANY DEPOSIT UNTIL YOU SEE WHAT YOU'RE GETTING, PERIOD...... It's better to pay more and get something better.

I just moved in, the office staff was nice and helpful. My aparment unit was very clean. I think that they have new management. so far things are going good.

Like the other reviews show, the staff would do anything to save $$$, which has a negative affect on the rent paying tenants like myself....Don't believe me???
There was a time my living room ceiling was leaking due to plumbing issues. I call the office to get the maintenence men to my apartment to fix the problem. OK, so they came, did they work, the leaking stopped, but they left the work incomplete by not covering the hole in the ceiling they cut out to fix the problem. They said they'll come back and fix the problem...After 2 weeks went by, I'd call the office, ask them to get the maintenence men to come finish the job...to make a long story short, I had to call the office every 2 weeks, all I'd hear is "We got your work order here, they'll be there soon.". This went on for months!!! Until I got fed up and told them I'm not paying my rent until this problem is fixed and advised them I had an attorney behind this matter(I also had the work slips from when they initially came to service my apt, which the work wasn't complete)...2 days later, they covered the hole in my ceiling (even left a mess of some paint residue behind), then I paid my rent afterwards.
Nobody should've went thru these measures just to get something fixed in their apartment....they want us to pay rent on time, but if the apartment has damages which can affect your time living there, they'll come when they feel like it unless you threaten legal action.
