Apartment Reviews for Residences At Edgewater Place
NOISE!!!!!! :(

I've been living here since October 2009. I'm going to review this place based on the categories:
Safety - There's a security/maintenance/janitor guy that walks around the complex during the day and night and I beleive there is a night watch group that's ran by community volunteers.
Parking - I usually get to park where I want to when I get home. If I get home real late sometimes, there arent very many spots open, but that's very rare that there isn't an open spot on my side of the apartment.
Apperance - Nothing fancy, but it looks a lot better than most places around the area.
Office Staff - Haven't really had to to talk to them since we signed our lease. They send out flyers every once in awhile and they gave us candy on our door for Halloween and X-mas.
Maintenance - Haven't had any issues to call for maintenance.
Condtion of Unit - Everything is brand new, so there really isn't anything to complain about here. I pay about $40/mo for water and about $130/mo for electric.
Noise Level - HORRIBLE! You can hear every footstep, and if you listen closely you can hear every conversation, taking showers, and even when they get up to go the the bathroom (yeah, it's gross). It's like they didnt even put insulation between the walls and flooring. This also goes for the tennants living on either side of our unit as well, besides being able to hear their footsteps. So even if you get an upper unit, you're still going to hear just about everything.
Overall Rating - 3 Stars. I would've given this place 4 stars if it wasn't for being able to hear everything that goes on in the units around me. I would not recommend this unit to a friend, soley due to the noise issues. So if you don't mind listening to everything your neighbor does, then go ahead and sign the lease.
