Apartment Review for Spring Creek

When I first moved in, the apartment didn't seem bad at all. The area and grounds up keep was all very nice. Cheaper rent, and free tanning were perks. About two months after I moved in my car was broken into. They took my cd player and cd's. Not only that, one of my neighbors also had their car broken into the same night. <P>
Doesn't seem so bad right? I called the office and they stated to me that it was "common", and all they could do is take a copy of the police report. This was sadly the beginning. Since then I've had my hub caps stolen, my bike, and pretty much anything that I can't keep an eye on 24/7. The club on the corner sends all the fleeing drug dealers right into the complex. Which is usually after the "security" is gone. <P>
I can understand they can't completely control the crime, but here's another day damper. The apartment started to fall apart. I've put in many reports for just the building itself. Mold, leaks, carpenter ants, and missing paneling. All not pleasant things to live with. They claimed they would repaint the falling ceiling, and stop the leaks, but I have yet to hear from them after a month. <P>
Then there's the appliances. The fridge was broken for the first month after I moved in. I reported it twice before I even recived a call from the office. The dishwasher is stuck on plate heater, so all my plastic dishes melted. Even the ones that were dishwasher safe. It's been almost a year, and its still broken. <P>
Management, doesn't seem to notice and/or care. They may look pretty, but give it a few months. <P>
