Apartment Review for Steeplechase Village

The maintence isn't on top of things.. that's true. Our water hasn't been shut off without notice and we've lived here for about 8 months now, so that must be depending on where you live. We live right by the gas meters and yes there is a smell of gas. I've called the gas company who has explained to me that there's not serious risk or leak and they get calls about it all the time. They recently sent out a paper stating we needed a new riser (pipe that extends from the ground to the meter or other pipes that go to the meters) that the gas company would pay for. This place does have it's problems. But there's big fields where your kids can play that aren't littered completely with trash. There are nice people that live here, like anywhere, you'll have the exceptions but I'd much rather have these exceptions than hear gun shots everynight and worry about leaving my lawn furniture outside. Overall.. everywhere you're going to have pros and cons. For me, these are great apartments for the price with more pros than cons.
