Apartment Reviews for Sutton Square Apartments - Columbus

My husband and I have lived at Sutton Square for close to 4 years. And we enjoy the space and price. As long as you don't get involved with the outside your good. I love the basement, master bedroom space and kitchen with dining area huge. The maintenance staff takes care of the problems and the office staff are awesome. Good price , huge townhome space.

I am sorry to say that I have lived at Sutton Square for three years now. The surrounding areas are horrible(i.e., drug dealers, abandoned buildings, rampant crime). It's definitely not a place that you would want to raise children, or even live yourself, unless you can't afford anything better. The conditions of the apartment are antiquated at best. 40 year old plumbing, fixtures, etc. Maintenance is halfway decent, but the office staff is horrible and rude. Half of the time they don't even answer the fun. If you can afford to live somewhere else, I would advise you to do so.

I have lived here for almost 8 years. Now that the kids have grown, I am leaving. There have been a lot of changes in those years. Currently, the office staff is wonderful and work hard to get rid of lease offenders and noisy boomers with their cars and such. Maintenance staff could use a few more people. They do a great job fixing once they get to your unit. Be patient. They do not charge for emergencies as stated in the other review. I have had my car scratched by my neighbor's kids because there are Bebe's kids living there. Never been broken into or shot despite the rumors of the neighborhood. Would like assigned parking since some neighbors take it upon themselves to park more than the 2 allowed vehicles. Unless you are screaming and pounding, the walls are decently thick. The windows are single pane so I use an insulating foam to help with temperature control in my apartment. It has saved me a lot of $$$ and also helps to cut down on outside noise as well.
