Apartment Reviews for The Gardens At Polaris - Columbus

Lived at the Gardens at Polaris 3 years. Have had 6 floods-water from outside, bathroom back up and three dishwasher issues...
Poor insulation..very cold in winter months, high utility bills...Misrepresntation of management when leaving. Tried to keep deposit under false pretenses...Going to court at Small claims court over issues...

I've lived here for about 2 1/2 years and I love it. I just signed another years lease and with that they replaced my carpet. They had the guys move my furniture and everything for me. I thought that was so nice. They definately go above and beyond for their residents. I also like this place because they have resident functions. Not as much as they used to, but they still do different things every other month. It was so awesome because they wrapped my (and other residents) christmas presents! I dropped off about 10 packages and then went in their later to pick them up and they were done! It was a big weight off my shoulder and made the holidays better and less stressful. Maintenance is pretty good too. Sometimes they have to order a part or something & that may take longer, but their all pretty cool. The office staff knows what they're doing too. The turn around in their is quick though. It seems like they have someone else everytime i go in there. THe only one that is still their is Shera. She knows what she's doing so I usually go to her. I would def. recommend this place to my friends. i love my apartment! Get a lake view! It's so nice!! <P>

OK so i really do love this place, but the only thing is really is just the construction. The insulation on the apartments are terrible! I go downstairs and my stairs are ice cold. The windows are drafty and for some reason all the vents are on or near the ceiling. Heat rises and so does my gas bill in the winter because the bottom half of me is freezing. And when the furnace does kick on its so loud. I have to turn the volume up on my television just to hear it if i'm watching TV. Everything else is nice though. I love showing off my apartment, but i wish the construction was a little bit better. My neighbors are awesome. I'm friends with everyone and the property is really nice also. I love the office staff, but i wish the maintenance guys would complete my work orders quicker. When they do try to complete it, they half-*** it. The office staff is nice because they are so understanding about things. Whenever i have a problem or a question, they're on top of things. I have lived here for three years and it seems everyone (except for one girl) is new. But they all seem to know what they're doing so that's good. So, to sum it all up, i would definately recommend this place, but the construction is weak, that's the only thing.... <P>

OK, so i definately love it here. not really any complaints except i live on the 2nd floor and in the winter my stairs are freezing. maintenance says that there is not anything they can do about it because it's the way the construction was built. I under stand that, but i don't understand WHY the construction was built so poorly. I do love it here though. i would recommend this place to anyone. the staff is nice and helpful, the property is gorgous. i feel safe walking around the lake at night with my dog (little dog, by the way) with feeling 100% safe. It's a great location. i love the back gate (since it hasn't been broken for awhile). I've lived here quite some time and i think it's great that i only have 1 complaint. if you're looking for a quiet, friendly, well kept, gorgeous luxury apartment; this is it! PS--> i recommend having a lakeview.. it's so peaceful <P>

i think it's a great place to live, it is expensive, but it's totally worth all the money. I dont'; think i've ever heard my neighbors the whoel time i live here, all the neighbors are really nice and it's definately a safe place to live. Plus it's the upper class people living here, so you don't have any partiers and if you do, they'll take care of any complaitns you might have (which will prob. be none). I definately recommend this place to anyone who wants to live in a quiet, white neighborhood. It's definately luxurious. It's got a nice fitness center with alot of high tech equippment. You gotta move here, i swear it's f*cking awesome!!!

OKAY SO I'VE LIVED HERE ONLY ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND IHAVEN'T REALLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT UNTIL WINTER. THE PLOW GUYS TOTALLY BLOCKED MY CAR IN MY DRIVEWAY. I MEAN, GRANT IT THE MAINTENANCE GUY HELPED ME GET OUT BY SHOVELING IT, BUT THE JOB SHOULD OF ALREADY BEEN DONE. IT'S NICE HERE, BUT THAT'S THE ONLY THING, IF YOU DRIVE A BIG TRUCK OR AN SUV OR SOMETHING THAN IT'S FINE, BUT HOPEFULLY THE MAINTENANCE GUY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE TO HELP YOU, BECAUSE IF HE'S NOT, YOURE SCREWED!! ANOTHER THING IS THE NEW MANAGER THAT WAS JUST HIRED IS TOTALLY STUCK UP HER OWN ***! DEDE DOESN'T HELP OR TALK TO ANYONE IT SEEMS LIKE SHE'S NEVER THERE AND THE OTHER GIRLS ALWAYS RUN THE PLACE. THEY DO A GOOD JOB AT IT, BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT DEDE'S PROBLEM IS.... I RECOMMEND YOU GOING THERE AND NOT TALKING TO HER.

These apartments are really nice. Since the new management took over, it's even better. The staff are all really nice adn once a month we do like resident gatherings. we had happy hour at smokey bones the other month, a halloween party, pizza party, etc. It's really nice to live here because it's so peaceful. the only con that i can think of is when the snow is thick, the landscapers always block me in my driveway, but i call the office and they send maintenance over to clear it off. I'm a single female and feel so safe out here. The apartments are in really good condition and are so gorgeous. they have crown molding, etc. whenever my girlfriends come over they always say how much they love it! Plus, with a staff at the rental office it's so nice to call this place home. i truly recommend living here... it truly is a nice complex.

I've been living at the Gardens at Polaris for about 3 years now, a little over it was built. I love it. the staff is so nice and helpful and the maintenance is awesome too. they always get the job done at lease 72 hours in advance. It's such a relaxing and quiet place to live. They have a really cool video library which is free and it's so nice to just go in there and just chat with them because they always have time for their residents. The landscaping is so beautiful in the summer time and the snow plowing is really good too. You can always count to comeing home and relaxing. I've never really had a problem with my apartment and i don't think one neighbor doesn't like it here. They all are completely satisfied. Can't wait to renew... you should TOTALLY check this place out. you'll love it!!
