Staying active in the community is also easy with close by facilities like Sherwood Forest Swim Club, Shiloh Springs Park, Miami Valley Golf Club, and Hara Arena - which also holds the nationally acclaimed Ham Radio Convention: Hamvention. Tenants have enjoyed their time at Fountainhead, praising the management for personable service.

The Courtyards are situated on East Stroop Road, just off of Interstate 675 and directly adjacent to a large shopping center. At the shopping center, residents can find a variety of establishments, such as Wendy’s, J. Jill, Journeys, Panera, The Wine Loft, Books and Company, Chipotle, Mimi’s Café, and Noodles & Company. Several reviews complain that getting things fixed can be difficult. Bed bugs have also been a problem at the apartment complex. But, the location cannot be beat, and management may have taken control of the situation since these reviews were posted.

Northland Village Apartments is nestled in a bustling neighborhood that is filled with excellent amenities. Just down the road is the Dixie Twin Drive-In Theater and minutes away is the Wegerzyn Gardens Metro Park that offers children's activities at the horticultural center. Those looking for golfing greens will be happy to find Kitty Hawk Golf Course and Miami Valley Golf Club, both in close proximity. Grocers are also a quick walk away with I-Zu Japanese Restaurant & Grocery, Kroger, and Amir Market nearly at the door of the community. Some tenants have had issues with the safety of the community, but one resident has seen improvement in the building with renovations from 2012.
