The view of the lake is great, which is why I moved here. But management will not update bad floor tile or carpet if you are a long term tenant. They will replace these things in an empty unit to get it rented, but if you move in and don't ask up front about things that need replaced, then they won't do it. I had sold my house, needed an apartment, was taken with the view, so neglected to have them fix certain things before I moved in. Asking to have these things taken care of after you are in, they tell you no. Wish I had known that before I moved in. You would think it would be just as important to keep good tenants as to get new ones.
