Apartment Review for Silver Maple

The neighborhood is OK. <P>
The management staff likes to harass everyone, and make a public (door to door notices) issue, of single resident problems. <P>
Management staff also will retaliate when complained about to corporate. <P>
Great schools. Mostly quiet neighborhood (depending on what part you live in). Close to just about everything, lightning fast police / fire responce most of the time. <P>
Cable / DSL available, good cell coverage. <P>
EXTREMELY insufficient parking, unless you get a garage unit. (4 apartments to a 3br bldg, 2 cars allowed per unit, 5 spaces provided for those 8 cars, multiply that by 10, and it becomes a severe problem) <P>
Maintenence is second-to-none that I've seen thusfar. Friendly, quick, and usually gets it done at first request. <P>
Management can be extremely rude, and more recently nit-picks every little last thing. Beware, if you want to have a kiddie pool, or table w/ umbrella outside. These Items are prohibited. <P>
There seems to be more crime towards the 1br block, appears from what I can tell to be mostly domestic disturbances. Occasional car break-ins, but nowhere NEAR as bad as columbus. <P>
Beware, if you have a concealed handgun license. The office is off-limits to you, if you do, and carry. <P>
Rent seems to raise every year by $20-$50. <P>
Almost never any loud drunken parties, or fights, wandering drunks, etc. <P>
The grounds are very well maintained in my opinion. Traffic on our street is generally minimal. <P>
All in all, if you can stand the management staff, it's not a bad place to live. <P>
