I wrote the first review on this complex, "Great Place to live so far" when I only lived here about 3 months. Thought I would update a little bit.

So far so good. Havent had any problems with break-ins or car break-ins. This is Columbus though, and I expect it. Just make sure you have good car insurance in this town, that's for sure.

The walls are a bit thinner than I would like, but that is to be expected with apartments. If you have decent neighbors, you'll be fine. My neighbors play loud music sometimes, but since it's every once in awhile, I'm ok with it. Havent had any big neighbor problems yet. Hope that I wont, cos I'm sure LV, like all other place in Cbus, wont care at all- even though they supposedly have a strict noise policy (I'm thinking they dont enforce it though!)

Have had to call maintance twice. Both times for my oven. The pilot lights went out, and the apt. filled with gas. 2nd time I called them it took them about 45 min to get here! Felt that was ridiculous, as my apt was filling with gas at a very quick rate!

Gas bill: With apts, you have to be smart. They are drafty, of course! If you keep your thermostat on like, 75-80 degrees, of course you will have a high gas bill! This is not the complexes fault, but your own for wanting a very warm apt. If you want your apt to be very warm, you will pay a huge gas bill! We keep the thermostat on about 65-70 and our gas bill is only $100 or less per month. Be smart about heating and cooling, and you will save money. Plastics on windows help. I would like to see LV replace the old windows, but we know they wont.

Also I am hoping LV will paint/replace the siding come Spring. There are big chunks missing on many buildings, and the siding is stained pretty badly.

As I said in my other review, get a unit with a driveway. Parking is the worst here! There are a bunch of cars here in the parking spots that never move. LV says they tow cars that never move, but I have not seen evidence of that yet!

Havent had to deal with the leasing office much though. Last time I talked to them was for my oven, and the girl didnt have the friendliest attitude, so that makes me think that if you ever have any problems, they probably wont care. But what apt complex DOES care? I'm yet to find one.

Positives: They dont seem to do "surprise" inspections like some other places I've lived. People are generally friendly and stay to themselves, dont throw parties outside, etc. Havent had any problems with crime, and havent seen any suspicious activity either.

Overall I still recommend this complex. Just dont pay the "full" rent prices though. Get in on one of their deals!

I've lived in quite a few complexes in Columbus and this is my favorite place so far. I've lived here about 3 months. First off, the neighborhood is quiet and crime free. They have security patrol here which is great. The grounds are very well taken care of, and neighbors are generally friendly. Pets are allowed, and every unit has 2 bedroom "suites" with 2 bathrooms (each room has its own bathroom) and a 1/2 bath downstairs. Each unit also has a fireplace and gas heat/stove and central air. Best thing is having a garage! Each unit has one.

Prices are very good. Dont believe the prices you see on their site. They are always having some sort of special where you can get tons of money off per month (we get $75 off each month). Also they will waive the application fee too. They also have different rates for different levels of the units. For instance, the ones with new kitchens and carpet are about $100 more a month than the ones with older kitchens. I'm in a unit with an older kitchen and the appliances work great. They are a little battered from use but work fine.

My only complaints- it would be nice if there were more offstreet parking for the cars that do not stay in the garages. Also the walls are a little more thin that I would like. I can hear my neighbors washer and dryer and hear them banging around sometimes, but they do not play music or yell which is great. Also, since I have a lower priced unit, the carpet is in kinda bad shape, but it is worth it to have to pay less rent per month.

If you decide to live here, my advice is to get a unit with a driveway. All units have garages but not all have driveways. That way you have an extra spot for an extra car.

Also they are pretty strict about who they let live here. I had to have a co-signer because I dont make enough money per month (however much that is, I'm not sure!), yet I lived in many other complexes in Columbus where I did not need a co-signer. So if you have bad credit or dont make a lot of money and cant have a co-signer you probably will not get accepted. But this is a good thing in my opinion because it keeps the crime rates low.
