Not a good place to live!!

We moved in to a bottom level apartment in November of 2008 and we had nothing but trouble from the beginning. We brought our own appliances which we were told we could before we signed the lease. Well when we moved into the apartment a month after paying our deposit and signing the lease their appliances were still in the apartment and the girl in the office told us that the owner wouldn't approve us using our own. It took us a week and a call from our attorney to get it straightened out since it was in the lease we could use our own. The parking is horrible, people who don't live in the apartments would come visit for days taking up all the spots. The doors have electronic keys and ours misfunctioned constantly leaving us out for sometimes hours at a time waiting on maintence. Finally on top of all that was the noise and parties. The people above us would have parties on their balconies dropping their beer bottle to the sidewalk below and occasionally on cars too. When we complained the girl in the office called over and told the people that we complained. Which in tow got our car vandalized. After that they offered to move us apartments, at our expense. The guy across from us had lived there 2 years and had been moved to 3 different apartments because of different problems. Therefore we decided that moving out was our best option so we broke our lease 5 months early.

I disagree and have enjoyed living here the years that I have. I just signed a new lease and couldn't be happier.
Brittany, u love it bc U WORK FOR the OFFICE...your not FOOLing anyone!!!!! You can see her in the clubhouse almost daily working and selling ppl apartments all day long!!! I'd protect the mouth that feeds me too! It is a total mess there! I lived their for a few years and it was absolutely awful! BTW when something goes wrong with appliances they just rig them or bring you filthy dirty appliances that you have to clean before using and they act like you a hassle when calling after hours! Good luck if u move there! It will look nice to the eyes and they will make u feel at home until u have an issue with something! Not to mention that parking is awful and they will tag your car even if you have a tag and have lived their for years and they know for fact that u do live there.
HA Brittany-- You crack me up.. Of course you love it there.. you WORK THERE.. I lived there and after only a MONTH of being there I was ready to leave. When we moved in we had screws hanging out of our cabnits. and marks on our wals and doors and cig burn marks in our carpet. After only being there for 2 months we had stains coming up in our carpet which werent a result of my children bc they attended daycare most of the days. We were told that they only clean carpet if you sign a new lease or PAY $60.00 to have it done! Only after 2 months, those stains shouldnt have been there yet, if at all. THey have bugs and mold (Lots of MOLD!!!) We have had them over to clean up mold COUNTLESS amount of times.. if you dont believe me, I have PICTURES. Borad of health has/was and probably still is being contacted about this issue. I hvae been locked in my apt BUILDING, not my personal apt but the building itself for malfuntions of the doors which caused me to be LATE for WORK! The apts are poorly made. The water heater, fuse box and what not in located in the 2nd bedroom which is usually the bedroom that the CHILDREN end up gettin.. O and I cannot forget when the maintance was changing my filter on time, they left a surprise in my childrens room (the 2nd bedroom).. a pill, which happened to be a generic form of oxy-cotton! I had a 18month old at that time.. which everyone knows what they do-- pick up and hand to mouth! If my child would have gotten ahold of that, I wouldnt have known until it was too late! I do NOT recommend ANYONE to live in this place.. This is one of those "Dont judge a book by its cover" Except its NICE on the OUTSIDE-- but once your in... its another story!
