Review for Villages At New Albany Park Apartments

I'm a current resident here and after reading the comments from former tenants I would like to share my views as well. Although there are few things that could be improved, such as the garbage pilling up perhaps getting greener grass... a lot of these complaints aren't really accurate. I've had some maintance done to my apartment (garage door opener battery replaced, and a clogged up drainer) on both occasions they responded that same day, and called me the next day with a follow up call to assure I was pleased with the service. Parking... you have your garage and 1 extra paking. So it could become challenging if you or your neighbors have a lot of guests. Security... comparing to some places I've been in the past, this is by far the most safe place. Apperance... hum... I consider it to be very clean. I would say that they try their best keeping the grass green by constanly watering it, bt I would agree that on the weekends, the trash piles up. Condition of unit... comparing to most places, one of the reasons why I moved in here was because the complex was recently built. So everthing has been well kept. But I will tell you that the NOISE LEVEL on the weekends is out of hand. I unfortunately got a place nearby the pool (thinking that it would be closer to the work out room), BIG MISTAKE! People are constanly screaming and playing loud music until late night (sometimes even after pool hours). Well, I guess this is what is expected when you live in a place that draws a croud in their 20's. The bottom line is that just like any other apt complex will be things that you dislike, but I can honestly say that for the amount requested for the quality of the place, Village of New Albany Park is a good choice. Check it for yourself!!!
