Best Place I've Ever Lived

We moved into Stratford Chase in April of 2005 signing an 18 month lease. I absolutely love this place. We came from Hyde Park apartments near 161 and Cleveland and watched a beautiful community (which was called The Palisades when we moved in) turn into a section 8 nightmare. Stratford Chase is not only the first place I've felt truly safe, but it's the first place I've felt truly valued and respected. The staff was wonderful when we first moved in, and the new staff has not disappointed me yet. Not only are maintenance issues taken care of in a timely manner, but they call you back the following day to ask if everything was completed to your satisfaction. What? Are you kidding me? When we first moved in, the place was 5 star hotel clean with cards in every closet and bathroom stating "yes we've cleaned here too". There was even a complimentary bottle of champaigne and two flutes left for us. As far as safety is concerned, we have our resident police officer living to the right of us, and a Delaware county Sheriff's deputy living two doors down on the left. Westerville is practically Copland. We just signed our second lease and don't plan on going anywhere until we can afford a house or someone kicks us out. As far as items being left outside; we received strict guidelines with our lease, but they don't seem to adhere to them. We keep our windchimes and water fountain out. People have huge Buckeye flags. There is even one resident who hangs her clothes out on the line to dry and another who keeps her kids table and chairs and sandbox out on the patio. Parking is more than substantial. Every unit comes with a garage, there is a place behind the garage to park in your own private driveway, there are visitor spots on every street, and there is ample parking in designated spaces on Storrow Dr. Then there is the noise level that people complain about. It's not a house, we share walls, and our neighbors to the left are very quiet and there is a nice grassy area between our unit and our resident officer's unit (we both have end units). I honestly believe the only complaint I have is the price, which really isn't a complaint because it's worth every penny. Stratford Chase is an awsome place to live.
