If you’re thinking about moving into the great state of Oklahoma, the first thing that you should know is that there are actually a large number of houses available to purchase. But these houses are usually in the smaller, more rural areas of the state. There are, however, a great deal of apartments for rent available near many of the larger cities. If you want to guarantee that you’ll find a great apartment, check out apartments for rent in Oklahoma City, or look to Midwest City or Stillwater. For something a bit smaller, however, and for a place where the rent will likely cost less, look at smaller cities like Commerce, Ada, and Hugo. And remember: if you’re looking for student friendly housing, you don’t have to get an apartment directly in the city. Many times you’ll find less expensive apartments for rent in the state if you look a few miles outside of the city limits.
