Review for Lexington Commons Apartments

When we first moved here we had a leak coming from the upstairs shower, that leaked down into the garage. They never would fix it and you could see all the water spots in our garage where the water had leaked down. After a few months my sister and I started having problems with bronchitis and other respiratory problems. My dad stayed at our apartment one weekend and he is allergic to mold. He had problems the whole time he was there. So we called maintenance about fixing the problem. The office staff was laughing at us saying there was no mold. We finally got maintenance (while my dad was there) to come and cut a hold in the wall and they found mold. The problem is this is right by the heating system so all of that has been going into our apartment through the duct work. The only thing they have done for this is sprayed some stuff on the mold. They have done nothing to clean the duct work.

We also have a dishwasher that won't clean and a stove that won't cook right. The carpet needs to be replaced but they said there is no money in their budget for carpet. There is a door in the upstairs bathroom that fell apart.

The balcony doors has wood all around them that is rotten. So they either have a bad case of termites or a leak problem. When you pull the carpet up around the doors the wood on the floor is rotten also. You can poke your finger in it and is splinters.
