looking at the complex? ( over a year ago )

I did not rent here but I looked at apartments here. The SIA management is the sister apartment to Oxford Oaks (but not the same quality). It's not a bad workingman's apartment, affordable, cute, well kept up from what I saw. However, two things I would mention that were said to me: Broadway Extension traffic can be absolutely horrible. Rush hour traffic is beyond belief. That means you can't get out or in except by Memorial. Also: the dog food (Purina) plant is nearby. Guess how I know. Not bad in the winter-I hear it is worse in the summer. I remember working at Fleming/Jasco, it was a horrible smell.

When I first moved here it made Chapel Ridge of Edmond look like the next best thing since sliced bread you feel me? I wouldn't say crime but the violence was crucial I'm talking about broads busting out car windows, drive UP shooting yes they drove up on the grass to shoot at their rival, you had your pregnant chick 8mths that is showing out being man-handled by the police in front of her kids I mean these apartments were out there bad,and then like hurricane katrina we got a new property manager and security guard Mr. Fields and brother don't play but they came through and cleaned these apartments out!!!!!!! Now the only time you see a police car it's passing by on Broadway Ext. instead of coming into the apts. I mean the office staff, maintenance, the units are nice and roomy I really like that they have sprinklers in EVERY single room is nice but other then that they are pretty cool well, Now since the "Hood Patrol" came and cleaned them up. Oh yeah I don't like that there's only one way in and one way out that SUCKS.... <P>
