Apartment Review for Orchard Springs Apartments

There has been two murders her in the last year. There has been several shootings. One night they shot the windows out of a bunch of cars. Someone drove through the complex--literally. They took out a metal park bench, damaged three cars and left tenants that were outside running for their lives. When the cops come out for disturbances like these they just get an attitude--like oh well--what do you all expect? The management says they can not protect you but yet when you come to look at the apartments they act like everything is like paradise here. They misrepresent the situation here. They trap people into their leases with false representations. When I moved here I was promised ammenities like a basketball court and a swimming pool. It is too dangerous to go out during the day to play basketball and the pools look like they are not in good enough shape to be called swamps. I have been overcharged several times for rent and have caught it every time. so tenants keep all your reciepts. I asked to get out of my lease cause I was so afraid and they said they would sue me if I moved and I would never get section 8 again. This is just one way the wealthy white people get away with ripping off persons who are of color and disabled. They could give a rip less if you are safe here as long as the property gets there money. The security guards are ineffective here. the only ones the security guards push around are the tenants that are not causing any trouble. They are to afraid to deal with the thugs cause the thugs have guns and they do not. I have had almost every privacy right violated since I have lived here. They say it is because they are trying to get rid of crime so is this an excuse to harrass the good tenants and their visitors. OUr visitors are too afraid to come here. If the thugs do not harrase them then the management treats them like thugs. I notice that IP addressees to this review site is being monitored to prevent dishonesty or abuse of this system. The only dishonesty is the misrepresentation of persons who say that this is an okay place to live. I challenge the opinion and proof that this is a decent place to reside. I have proof of what I state if you wish to challenge this...just let us know. It is like rolling ghettos here and I want to leave I am afraid for my life and my visitors. We are caught in the cross fire of the gangsters, prostitutes and druggies. The manager do not live on property so they are safe at their homes...Do yourself a favor...find somewhere else to go. Help me..help yourself...
