For all new renters out there looking for an apartment to rent, and come across Villas at Countryside; I suggest reading a few reviews before considering residents here. I've been living here for a little over a year, and it has been ok living here at the Villas at Countryside. One thing you should do is get a digital camera and take picture of everything that doesn't look right. I took pictures from the north-south and east-west parts of the apartment. I type up a word document of what was wrong, and burned the picture to compact disc. I gave the document and the compact disc to the front office before I moved in. This is a good thing to do, so they won't say that you damaged something when it was preexisting. (They looked at me like I was weird or something), but I just wanted to cover my butt, so I wouldn't be out of money when I move out. I have a two bedroom apartment there at Villas at Countryside, on the third floor. I consider the third floor, because my previous experience on the bottom floor; it was not a good one. Pros: The apartment is roomy, it was about nine hundred or so square feet. It has a good balcony view and midsize storage closet. Kitchen appliances were up to date and clean. Parking was good, lots of parking spots during the day, and night. They have security during the night that patrol. Bedrooms are large, and closets are a decent size. The guess bathroom is large with washer and dryer hookups. The other residents are nice, the ones with kids, can get a little annoying with the car door dinging. Most of the residents are military, or law enforcement. It is close to the highway, so when you are leaving for work "zoom zoom". It takes about one minute or less to get on the highway. I hate to say these, but if you are a student with a budget like me, or just don t have that much money to spare, and you want to get online. Most of the people around you have wireless internet modems, so if you have "WiFi" on your laptop, phone, or even desktop; you can usually just connect to someone that lives around you! College part's equals noise, there are college parties every now and again, but the security that patrol usually crack down on the partying here. Cons: The floors are wearing out, so when you're on the second or third floors you can hear squeaking or cracking sounds when you walk around your apartment. This happens usually in the bathrooms, living room, by the bar area, and in the kitchen. The two doors in the apartment have weather stripping that is wearing out, so there is a noticeable gap in the lower ends of the doors where bugs are welcome to your apartment. So you have to get maintenance attend that problem right away. The water pressure drips about 2 pounds pre square inch. In other wards, it is not very good. I have to stand directly under the shower head to take showers. You might want to get some energy efficient light bulbs, because everything is eclectic. Like I had mentioned before the parking lot is big, lots of parking, and security, although my car was broken into three times over the pass year. So they need to hire a new security officer for sure. It is really bad when you live on the third floor and you catch someone braking into your car, you have to haul ass down three flights of stairs to kick some ass, but by that time they have already gotten away. So, if you have nice cars don t park it here. The police arrived before the security officer. "Lame!!" You can hear people walking up and down the stairs, and when they do; they're not quiet about it. It seems like everybody walking up and down the stairs weight about third hundred pounds; it is loud!! We have a guitarist that lives on the other side of the stairs, and that is pretty annoying. The highway is nice, although it can get annoying at night with the eighteen wheelers drive at night. You have to watch out while exiting the apartment to enter the service rd., because people usually are going about fifty five or even sixty mile an hour. Ok, there are a lot of frog's that roam around during the night, it is gross. The have not controlled this problem at all; it is a least fifty or more frog's just roaming around in the front of my building section. I went out at about seven or seven thirty to swim for a bit, I got waste deep in the pool; to be accompanied by ten of more frogs swim a long side of the pool's walls. Now I was completely discussed, so do not swim in they're pool, unless you want to catch some unknown decease that frog's carry.
