a compromise ( over a year ago )

This place is so-so. Nearly every tenant is college-age, so noise and partying can be a problem. Walls are pretty thick, but ceilings are thin. The complex is pretty close to the train tracks as well, so be prepared for your apartment to shake! The water and plumbing requires a lot of work, so they are often shut off during the day without warning, but are usually restored promptly. There are perks, however. All utilities are paid, including extended cable and high speed internet. Walking to anywhere on OU's campus takes 15 minutes or less, and if you have football tickets, game days will be a breeze. Apartment size is pretty good for the price, although the appliances and tile can be outdated. Living here means compromising; you have to accept some inconveniences to save money and live so close to OU. <P>

if youre looking for a cheap apartment this ones for you. its not bad, but its not great. i love not having to worry about any utilities, theyre all included, but theres no security, and no assigned parking, which can get aggrivating during school hours when everybody parks here to walk to ou. i have had no problems living on the top floor, but ive been in the lower ones where ive seen roaches in the cabinets and heard loud footsteps on the ceilings. maintenence is all right to get things done when you request them, but do not live here if you have a baby or some other commitment that requires you to always have access to water. they will turn off both hot and cold water for a day at a time without notice several times a year, and they will also turn off the hot water for several days at a time without notice. the only reason i can see people living here is because they want to save some money by not having to buy an ou parking pass.
