Review for Chapelridge Apartments

I am currently still living here. I have been here for about 3 months now and I am going insane. Fortunately I bought a house and I will be buying out the lease just to leave this place.

The rent is extremely high. (Which I wrongfully assumed the high rent meant quality living, wrong) The walls are paper thin. I can hear everything from my neighbors upstairs.. EVERYTHING. Toilets flushing, Showers, etc.. I can hear the music from my neighbors attached to the kitchen and my son's wall (which wakes him up at least once or twice a week). I have asked the woman upstairs if she could keep her kids from stomping and running past 9pm and she said (with all her class) deal with it. I have complained to management, but there response was "What do you want us to do about it, call the cops." *wish I could attach a sound recording)

Not only do I have to deal with her and her kids be loud and obnoxious, I have to worry about how much noise I am making for the gentleman downstairs. I ask him, when I see him, if we are bothering him.. So far he has said no. (so it can be done!)

In the parking lot my vehicle has sustained one giant scratch and one dent where a door was opened into it. And if I come home from work late (around 6ish) there are no parking spots left.

The local kids are "wanna be thugs." They travel in packs.. mostly from the trailer park right across the road. It has been rumored that they have been harassing unaccompanied women after nightfall.

*I'm writing this at 10:52 at night and the kids are still playing chase and running allover the apartment up stairs. (on last count she has 7 kids upstairs, that have a bed time of God knows when) My wife and son are trying to sleep.

Well if the apartment still sounds like the place you want to be ... here are some upsides... -decent sq ftg/clean newer appliances/near town....

Thats about it though.

This is the wost living experience of my life. I cannot wait to leave this apartment. If you do rent from Chapelridge get a 3rd floor apartment, because then you only have to worry about neighbors on two side of you instead of 4.
